At Books Are My Fandom, we love debut authors, but we feel as though once they debut, the book community forgets about them as a whole. Where do the debut authors go once they have debuted? What do they have in store for the future? And thus, “Where Are They Now?” was born: a feature for the previous year’s debuts to continue to stay in the minds of the bookish community! You can see our full list of participating authors here! So let’s meet today’s featured author… Kristy is currently in Sequel Valley, with CONTRIBUTE, the second book in the Holo […]

Disclaimer: We received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. This in no way affects our opinion of the book. Dani’s Review DNF @ 2% You know how you can pick up a book and just know it won’t work for you? Yeah. That happened here. Nothing worked for me. Nothing made sense. The sister was just an extreme mess, and I find it hard to believe that, after what she did years before, she wouldn’t have had a psych evaluation. It didn’t help that there was too much unnecessary detail. Maybe it should become standard practice […]

Jamie’s Review Honestly this was REALLY good. I am mostly disappointed that it wasn’t longer. I like the idea, the setting, the characters, and the actual execution. I thought that the writing was a little stiff and dense but it didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment of the novella. I thought that the idea that we create a network that could produce consciousness was SO interesting. I just wish that the ending wasn’t so open. Actually I’m glad the ending is so open because there is room for more from this series. I am very intrigued and very happy […]
